How to File a Marriage Certificate

Filing a marriage certificate in Chilton County is easy. Alabama changed its marriage laws in 2019. You no longer need a marriage license. You do not need a ceremony. Marriage is now a contract. Two people sign a form and file it. That is all it takes.
